Terms of Service
These Terms of Service set forth the terms for using the photo-based social network “Paparazzi” (the “Service”) provided by the operator of Paparazzi (the “Operator”). By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
1. Accounts
Users must register accurate information and appropriately manage their authentication information. An account may not be lent, transferred, or sold to a third party. Minors must obtain consent from a parent or other legal representative, as necessary, to use the Service.
2. Photos and Face Recognition
The Service may use face recognition to match users appearing in photos and display related photos. Face recognition is not perfect and may result in misidentification or failure to recognize a user.
3. Posted Content
Rights to content posted by users, including photos, comments, and chats, belong to the user or the rightful holder. Users grant the Operator permission to use posted content to the extent necessary to provide, display, maintain, and improve the Service.
4. Prohibited Conduct
- Conduct that violates laws or a third party's copyrights, portrait rights, privacy, or other rights
- Harassment, discrimination, threats, impersonation, or obscene or violent posts
- Taking photos of others continuously or in an intimidating manner without consent or a legitimate reason
- Unauthorized access, disruption of the Service, or unauthorized acquisition of information
- Other conduct that the Operator reasonably determines would interfere with safe operation
5. Restrictions on Use
In cases of violations of these Terms, safety issues, reports of rights infringement, or legal necessity, the Operator may hide or delete posts, restrict features, suspend accounts, or take other actions.
6. Changes to the Service and Disclaimer
The Operator may change, suspend, or terminate the Service as necessary for maintenance, incidents, or safety. The Operator does not guarantee the continuity of the Service, the accuracy of face recognition, or the permanent retention of posted content. Except in cases caused by the Operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Operator is not liable to the extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Account Deletion
Users may delete their accounts from the app's settings. The handling of information after deletion is set forth in the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to These Terms
If these Terms are changed, important changes will be announced in the app or on this page. These Terms are governed by Japanese law.
